Last year Eumar made a fantastic deal when they partnered with Carnival Cruise Line to implement complete vanity units across their entire new cruise vessel, Mardi Gras which is currently being built in Meyer Turku. Carnival’s Mardi Gras is an XL-Class ship that accommodates over 5,200 passengers making it the largest ship in the Carnival Cruise Line fleet. It is also the first of the cruise line’s vessels to use liquid natural gas (LNG) for fuel, so this project was quite a challenge, but one they gladly accepted.

“We are honoured to partner with Carnival Cruise Line and Meyer Turku and look forward to providing this outstanding vessel with comprehensive bathroom solutions. Eumar Design is looking forward to offering the best bathroom environment to help in creating a memorable experience for Mardi Gras’ guests on board,” explained Arkadi Berman, CEO of Eumar Design.

When Carnival Cruise Line launched their first ship in 1972, the TSS Mardi Gras, they had a clear vision to make cruise ships less stuffy, and more fun and exciting. They wanted to give guests more entertainment options, more distinct areas and an experience that would deliver lifelong memories.

Now they are paying homage to the original by building the ultimate cruise ship – Mardi Gras. The Mardi Gras is a new concept in ocean-based fun, having introduced the groundbreaking idea of zones. These consist of six themed areas packed with brand-new experiences for eating, drinking and entertainment. The ship will also feature the world’s first rollercoaster at sea, Bolt. This is the kind of innovation and visionary thinking that Eumar can get on board with. The team are delighted to be part of this spectacular project.
