Over the course of two days, these industry leaders will be covering the industry’s most pressing topics. These range from targeting tech-savvy Gen-Zers to factoring in weight to designing the cruise ships of the future! Keynote: Futurist: Cruise Design in 2030

Day 1, 11:30am – 12:20pm

Take your cruise ship designs into the future in the first session of Cruise Conversations Live Europe 2022. Join our panel for an insight into what it will take to build a successful business in the cruise interior sector for 2030. After an opening discussion that covers how the current global picture looks, the speakers for this session will then outline the trends and opportunities interior designers should pay attention to going forward. You can also expect to come away from this keynote with a knowledge of what’s evolving in product development for cruise interiors.

Conference Session: Mapping the Creative’s Journey

If you’re looking for an in-depth introduction to the designer’s creative journey, then this is the conference session for you. After an exploration of the creative mind and what it means to be a designer, our panel will take you through the steps of the creative process, from conception to finalisation. You can expect to gain an understanding of how to develop concepts that incorporate storytelling elements and take influence from cross-sector industries to inspire consumers, as well as the process of taking these concepts through all stages of the design process in this invigorating session.

Cruise Conversations Live will reconvene on day two of Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Europe with the keynote ‘The Modern Shipyard’. In this keynote, speakers representing leading cruise lines (Royal Caribbean Group) and shipyards (Damen Shipyard) will be weighing in on a multitude of issues, trends and opportunities facing shipyards today. Discover the ways in which you can add value when developing client newbuild and refurb projects, or how to incorporate innovation whilst balancing the requirements of reference ships in this insightful session.
