This season, Cane-line can proudly introduce a new edition to the classic indoor Nest series, the Nest outdoor version! The Nest series is a contemporary reinterpretation of classic weave furniture with the classic indoor collection being made of the sustainable rattan material, but to move the lineoutside under the open skies, Cane-line had to reimagine it in new high-tech materials.
The Nest outdoor series is developed in their special Cane-line fibre, Cane-line Weave®, that looks fairly similar to natural rattan. The rattan-coloured frame is made of durable aluminium. The combination of Cane-line Weave® and a strong aluminium frame creates a timeless and durable furniture.
The lines reproduce the original indoor version and Cane-line’s unique QuickDry & Airflow system ensures that the furniture dries surprisingly quickly after a rain shower. The seat cushions can withstand many years of sunshine and wind. Additionally, the new material means that the furniture can withstand harsh outdoor conditions – the merciless UV rays, wind and rain.
The Nest series is designed by the Danish design duo Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen MDD, who are two of Scandinavian’s most renowned and successful furniture designers. They strive towards the highest quality in cooperation, process and product, and believe that knowledge and innovation are fundamental.
The series consists of three elements, a round chair, lounge chair and a comfortable 2-seater sofa, which are all suitable for outdoor use. Cane-line’s furniture showcases unique organic design, consistently across both the indoor and outdoor versions. It is classic Danish design at its best – simple, comfortable and high quality.
