A year of growth
In 2019 Marine Travel set themselves several exciting objectives which created a busy and rewarding year for the team. They increased their team in their Canterbury Head Office by four, added three more to their Manila operation in the Philippines and their Dublin office in Ireland became fully operational.
With the opening of their Dublin location, it allowed them to provide marine fares in Euros to existing and new customers. They have seen growth from this new office which has expanded the business further into the Yachting and Ship Management markets based in the Euro and they plan to expand this office during 2020 to service their increasingly growing European customer base.
In Manila they opened a new department dealing solely with ancillary products. Operating alongside their 24-7-365 reservations team this department is responsible for booking hotels, car hire and transfers using negotiated rates with companies based globally, enabling their reservations staff to concentrate on using their expertise in providing the best flight options.
Cruise Ship Interiors Expo Europe
They have fantastic feedback from their customers and so this year they plan to expand even further enabling their ancillary team to assist their customers with more complex ground itineraries and additional services.
Moving into their 18th year, 2020 will see them exhibit for the first time at Cruise Ship Interiors Expo in London. The aim of this exhibition is to bring their company and brand to a new audience in the Cruise Ship markets.
