COVID Protocol - Cruise Ship Interiors Expo Europe

UPDATED – 28/11/2021

Following the recent announcement from the UK Government, please take note of the updated requirements for international arrivals into the UK.

If you are arriving on Monday Nov 29 then you do not need to do anything and you are not impacted by this change.

If you are arriving on or after Tuesday Nov 30 from 4:00am, the UK now requires all international arrivals to complete a PCR test on arrival, or by the latest, on Day 2 of your arrival (the day of arrival is day 0). It then requires arrivals to self isolate until they have their negative result. We recommend taking the test upon arrival into the UK.

We have taken the proactive approach to ensure that the show can run safely and to the high standard that exhibitors and visitors have come to expect.

We have partnered with a testing firm, who specialise in rapid PCR and event testing and will be set up at 2 of our HQ hotels, Novotel Excel & Aloft London, which are both just minutes walking distance from the ExCeL. They will be providing rapid PCR testing for just £65 (card or cash accepted) with results being emailed to you within 2-3 hours. This means all international participants can easily arrive in the UK, come to one of our rapid PCR testing sites to take their test, check into their hotel room and wait for 2-3 hours for their results, at which point they can leave their room.

The testing will be available:

Tuesday 8.00am – Midnight
Wednesday 8.00am – 11.00pm
Thursday 8.00am – 1.00pm

You do not need to book this test, you can simply arrive at the hotel with a walk-in service in place.

  • Insist all registrations are done before arriving at the show to avoid queuing
  • And the ExCeL will be allocating specific bathrooms and parking areas for each event

As we get closer to the show we will be reminding everyone of these measures and informing everyone of any updates. All of these measures are subject to change by December and whilst things may be relaxed we will always put the safety of our visitors and exhibitors first.

If you do have any questions about any of the measures above, please do not hesitate to get in contact with the team via
