COVID-19 Safety Measures - Cruise Ship Interiors Expo Europe

When we open the doors for Cruise Ship Interiors Expo Europe 2020, the health and safety of our exhibitors, visitors, speakers, VIPs and staff is of upmost importance. We are working closely with the ExCeL London and monitoring UK Government advice regularly to ensure we do all we can to provide a safe environment for you to come along and reconnect with colleagues in the industry, build new connections and get up to date with all that is new in the industry.

With that in mind, below are a few of the measure we will be implementing. These will be continuously monitored and updated in line with the latest advice;

Temperature testing on arrival from build up through to breakdown. Anyone showing a raised temperature will not be permitted in the hall

Wider aisles to allow social distancing and one-way system across the show floor which will be clearly marked out

The Show Guide will be a digital version only to minimise printed literature onsite

There will be no food or drink samples offered and no buffet style food in the catering areas

An increased cleaning schedule will be adopted and multiple sanitation stations will be in the hall

Face coverings will be compulsory for all on the show floor

We will increase the distance between chairs within the conference area and there will be no shared microphones

On-site medical support and quarantine area for those who do display symptoms

Increased ventilation throughout the halls improving air quality

In addition to these, we will also;

  • Discourage the handing over of business cards and request that badges are scanned instead
  • Insist all registrations are done before arriving at the show to avoid queuing
  • And the ExCeL will be allocating specific bathrooms and parking areas for each event

As we get closer to the show we will be reminding everyone of these measures and informing everyone of any updates. All of these measures are subject to change by December and whilst things may be relaxed we will always put the safety of our visitors and exhibitors first
